Traditional Parterre

The clients here are keen gardeners and wanted to transform a boring, empty lawn to the South of their sitting room into a traditional flowering parterre. We selected yew hedging and installed discreet rabbit proofing before planting with a vibrant mix of roses and perennials to match the client’s chosen colour scheme and provide a long season of interest. At the front of the Grade 2 listed house, we created a semi-formal garden with topiary Yew and Osmanthus, alongside Hydrangeas, Roses and a stunning Acer for year round interest. Work is now underway on a substantial kitchen garden complete with polytunnel and fruit cage.
