We collect certain personal information in order to be able to fulfil our contract with you and our legal obligations to bodies such as HMRC. This information includes your name, postal address, telephone number and email address to enable us to arrange deliveries from third parties, discuss work with you and send invoices. This information will be kept for the duration of our working relationship with you and in order to comply with legal record keeping requirements. This data is kept on password protected hard and cloud drives with restricted access.
In addition, we may take photos of your garden and download plans of your property from publicly available databases such as Ordnance Survey & Google Earth in order to assist the design process. We will collect information about your preferences and those of your family in the form of handwritten notes and synthesise these into a written brief. These can all be deleted on completion of the project at your written request.
In addition, we would like to be able to take photos of your garden for marketing purposes, such as posting on social media or use on our website or in a portfolio for prospective clients. Where this is the case, your property will never be identified by name and locations will be kept deliberately vague eg North Oxfordshire. We will never take photos of people and will avoid images which may enable identification of your property. If you consent to the use of images collected for this purpose you have a right to request to view all images used and to request that we delete images or take them down from social media. You can withdraw this consent at any time by email or in writing. By agreeing to this statement, you give your consent for images to be used in this way until such a time as this consent is withdrawn.
